Photographer Karl Funk specializes in capturing surfing along the Eastern shore of Canada. His fascination with documenting the ocean began in his early years, but it wasn't until he relocated to the eastern shore of Canada that it truly ignited his creative passion. 

“Though it may be slightly taboo to articulate in writing, the flawless mechanics of the waves I've encountered here have been undeniably captivating. As time has progressed, I've had the fortunate opportunity to forge friendships with and regularly photograph some of the most accomplished women surfers in the province. Through this, I've had the privilege of bearing witness to the evolution of women's surfing in the province, it keeps me coming back time after time.”
