Mark works with a variety of media including charcoal, collage, oil and digital painting.  Having grown up, studied and worked in the UK, Mark settled in East Lawrencetown with his wife a few years ago, allowing more time for artistic exploration.  

Mark’s images often focus on people, places, and the space between the observer and the observed. “Recently my practice has focused more on the process of creation than the output itself.  As a result I’ve started to see images as a magic bridge: A way to deepen our experience of the world.  An experience that we might otherwise struggle to articulate, share or easily overlook”.  

Mark is a newcomer to the studio tour, and will be sharing a number of original works and prints for the first time.  Pop on by to say hi!
